Malaysian Cub Prix promoter, Two Wheels Motor Racing (TWMR) in a statement confirmed that Round 2 of the Malaysian Cub Prix Championship will continue as planned at Batu Kawan Circuit in Penang on April 13 and 14, 2019.
This is following the deregistration of Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) as the country’s motorsports governing body on November 30, 2018.
In the statement, TWMR thanked the Malaysian Sports Commissioner Office (SCO) for agreeing to a compromise with the members of the Malaysian motorsports fraternity.
“By working together, the SCO and the Malaysian motorsports fraternity have ensured the continuity of the sport in its myriad forms,” the statement reads.
