0Peugeot’s e-208 will be rechargeable everywhere
Peugeot will launch from the start a 100% electric version of their brand new 208 hatchback. It will be called e-208 and comes with a power of 136hp and a reasonable 260Nm of torque. The capacity of the battery will be 50 kWh, which should be sufficient for a distance of 340km according to the WLTP cycle – 450 km on the NEDC cycle. The t 0-100 km/h acceleration is a sensible 8.1 seconds.
The e-208 will be rechargeable everywhere, which is already good news for EV fans. On a household outlet, the load will spread over 16 hours, but thanks to a WallBox, it can fall faster to between 5 and 11 hours depending on the power of your electric network. Finally, on a fast terminal operating in direct current and not alternative, 80% of the battery can be regenerated in just half hour (30 minutes). Be aware that the battery is located along the floor and it does not encroach on the habitability of the cabin or the luggage space at the rear.
