Morgan Plus Six Rebirth

Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Morgan does not intend to change her charming post-war British style. This Plus Six confirms it. Yet this car is newer than it looks, it inaugurates a brand new aluminum platform. Its long bonnet accommodates a brand new BMW TwinPower turbo B58 6-cylinder engine that is sure to excite the driver even more.

Power delivery

The roadster now has 340hp and 500Nm at its disposal. And thanks to its platform it is an estimated 100kg lighter and stiffer and this roadster of 1075kg can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and reach the 267km/h top speed to challenge a brand new BMW roadster. The German brand collaborated with Morgan to integrate its 6 online in the Plus Six. This solution offers a more sober consumption than usual with an average of 7.4-liters / 100 km (170 g CO2 / km).

New cockpit

Aesthetically, the Plus Six is what you expect from a Morgan. Yet she reuses less than one percent of the 4,000 pieces of her previous model. It is still built “the old fashioned” with a wide panel of customization. The cockpit presents the most obvious evolution of design.

The new design and the CX platform have gained 200mm for added legroom and increased the storage space capacity by 31%. An almost revolution when looking at the previous model!
