In 2017, BMW had launched the Series 1 Sedan in China, a classic 4-door compact car sitting on the Active Tourer Series 2 chassis with front-wheel drive.
This model has only been marketed in the Chinese market, but BMW now seems ready to offer something similar in our regions. The brand has released a teaser image of the new BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe which will be the little brother to the 4 Series Gran Coupe. This new Gran Coupe has the task of attracting a younger buyer and taking away some of the Mercedes Benz CLA sedan audience.
