Aston Martin revealed quite a few concept cars at the Geneva Motor Show this year.
AM-RB 003 Concept
First off, there was the AM-RB 003, a collaboration with Red Bull Advanced Technologies that will follow up on the Valkyrie and Valkyrie AMR Pro. Just like those cars, the AM-RB 003 too will feature F1-derived technology and will outperform current day hypercar rivals. Only 500 of these are planned. No other details were revealed at the show.
Lagonda All-Terrain Concept
Under Aston Martin’s electric Lagonda brand, the Lagonda All-Terrain Concept was shown. This ultra-luxurious, emissions-free vehicle is a future study on where Aston Martin can evolve their design language. The inspiration for the design comes from the Concorde and superyachts. Rear-hinged doors will be featured at the rear for ease of ingress and egress. The interior of the vehicle has a more even-handed ambience spread between all four seats. There is the option of rotating the two front seats to face the rear two during autonomous operation.
Aston Martin Vanquish Vision Concept
Last, but not least, there’s the Vanquish Vision concept. This shows where the company will take its first mid-engined supercar. Yes, ‘Vanquish’ is a name usually reserved for Aston Martin tourer flagships, but the company wants to take it in a new direction. It is being imagined with the company’s upcoming V6 engine. The final version will ditch carbon fibre for a bespoke bonded aluminium chassis.
