For the Indian car market, this vehicle will compete with the Suzuki Vitara and the Ford EcoSport. It will also take on the Honda WR-V, Tata Nexon and the soon to arrive Geely models with Proton branding.
Exterior design highlights of the car comprise the chrome grille, vertical LED DRLs, diamond cut alloy wheels, front and rear silver bash plates as well as the tail lamps. The XUV 300 also
gets dual zone climate control, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering modes and cruise control, 7-airbags and 6-way adjustment for the driver’s seat.
Under the hood is a petrol 1.2-litre turbocharged engine and the diesel version is a 1.5-litre unit. Both get a six-speed manual as standard.
