Jaguar prefers an update of the model year. This is why this 2020 version of the Jaguar XE is distinguished by its new signature light and redesigned bumpers and thinner rear lights to give a sportier look. And this muscle posture will be further enhanced by opting for the more aggressive R-Dynamic.
The biggest change can be seen inside the XE. The British car brand has not only revised the choice of materials and assembly quality of the Jaguar XE, they have also worked on the cockpit design, ergonomics and technology. The SportShift shifter and the JaguarDrive Control switch on the revised center console are from the F-Type, the new steering wheel and the Touch Pro Duo information system come from the I-Pace electric SUV. And there’s the ClearSight rearview mirror, camera straight from the new Range Rover Evoque.
The chassis and engines of the Jaguar XE are carried over. The structure of the body is high in light aluminum. Adaptive dampers, AWD AWD, or Dynamic Custom Drive mode are available. For this 2020 model, the XE is offered as standard with an automatic transmission. The engine range of the Jaguar XE is known, with petrol and diesel engines of the Ingenium family. It starts with the D180 to the P300 at the top end.
