The 2020 Audi RS6 will be co-developed with Porsche and it will carry a twin- turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine shared with the latest Porsche Panamera Turbo and Lamborghini Urus to offer around 605 to 615bhp. That’s the same power output quoted for the limited-volume RS6 Avant ‘Performance’ version and 43bhp more than the previous regular RS6.
This new RS6 will also shed some weight, which will be almost 80kg lighter thanks to the use of a second-generation MLB structure. As a result, a 0-100km/h time of around 3.6sec and a top speed to 310km/h might be in cards.
