KTM engineers at Mattighofen, Austria have been busy working on the next generation of the 1290 Super Duke GT to excite riders and enthusiast. The 1290 is a motorcycle that was launched in 2016 and since then has received just some small updates until now. The 1301cc V-twin engine has now been re-engineered and runs titanium inlet valves and generates 175bhp with 141Nm of torque. There is a 2-way quickshifter. There is also an IMU-controlled traction control, braking and rider modes. A new 6.5-inch TFT display is clearer in bright sunlight. A new LED headlamp offers better illumination, and cornering lamps allow you to see through bends
Here are the new specifications and improvements on the bike;
