Moto Guzzi V7 III Rough Enters Malaysian Market

Didi Resources Sdn Bhd, the official importer and distributor of Moto Guzzi in Malaysia, has announced the addition of the new V7 III Rough to its local lineup.

The bike is priced at RM75,000, although a limited number of units are available at a special introductory price of RM69,900.

Different from other versions, the V7 III Rough stands out for its knobby tyres mounted on spoked rims measuring 18-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear.

The bike also comes with dedicated saddle with stitching and a passenger grab strap as well as aluminium side fairings and fenders, giving it an “urban country style”. Meanwhile, the headlight frame is painted black and the fork stanchions are protected by classic rubber dust covers.

Powering the V7 III Rough is a 744 cc V-twin engine equipped with light alloy pushrods and rockers that churns out 52 hp at 6,200 rpm and 60 Nm at 4,900 rpm.

Safety-wise, there are ABS braking system and an adjustable MGCT (Moto Guzzi Traction Control) system that can also be disabled. The former is a two-channel Continental system that prevents the wheels from locking up, whereas the latter prevents rear wheel spin in acceleration.

The V7 III Rough is available for viewing at the Gasket Alley in Petaling Jaya and Sheng Fatt in Penang.
