At the Gaikindo Auto Show this year, Nissan showed their new Terra.
It’s a pick-up-based 7-seater built on the latest Navara and will go up against vehicles like the Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Isuzu MU-X.
Just like the Navara, the Terra is powered by a 2.5-litre turbodiesel and can be had with a 7-speed convetional automatic. Some markets will receive a 6-speed manual as well. There are also 4X2 and 4X4 variants being made available.
Although it is somewhat late to the game, Nissan are giving the Terra the competitive edge by making it slightly larger than its main rivals. The Terra also gets a lot of features, like a blind spot warning system, intelligent around view monitor, lane departure warning and more.
