Many older Malaysians are familiar with the elegant Peugeot 406 from the mid-90s.
But how many got to see the, Pininfarina-designed coupe variant in the metal? This 2 door version was first shown at the 1996 Paris Motor Show.
This particular car we found, we’re not sure what engine it’s got under the hood. It was offered with 3 options. A 2.0 petrol, a 2.9 V6 petrol and a 2.1 diesel. From a little bit of research, it looks like all engines had a single exhaust from the factory. We didn’t get a proper snap of the tachometer either, so there’s that out the window.
There’s also a bit of damage on the rear bumper, but otherwise, this is a sweet classic in the making. Manual gearbox too!
