It looks like siblings from very similar design drawings. One is a full Swede design and the other pure Japanese yet the lines are completely the same. But the similarities end right here.
This Volvo XC60 was introduced in 2010 and this Honda CR-V came along in 2013. The early model Volvo XC60 2.0T sells today for between RM58,000 to RM65,000 and the 2013 Honda CR-V 2.0L will fetch between RM38,000 and RM45,000.
Very similar in rear hatch design and dimensions, the CR-V buyer probably does not realize the reasonable selling price of this 8-year-old Volvo. The Volvo XC60 buyer is looking at a depreciated luxury continental SUV and will probably never consider the CR-V.
