We’re testing out the all-new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid today. The car was launched just yesterday. Before we put our full review and videos together, we thought we might run through some reasons to own this new Serena. In fact, we think this may be for the best, there are just too many features to include in the review. But let’s start with some of the basics.
BASICS
- Yes, it retains some characteristics of the older car, but this is an all-new model. New chassis, newly configured MR20DD engine, ECO motor, gearbox and Nissan Intelligent Mobility features for the drive
- This model was No.1 in its class in Japan, with about 33,000 units sold last year
- Malaysia is the first market to locally-assemble it
- Compared to the previous Serena, it’s 18cm longer, 2cm taller and 6.5cm wider
- The 7-seat layout offers 13 different configurations
In case that wasn’t enough to convince you, we’ve broken it down to what Owners, Drivers, and Passengers in each row can expect, feature-wise.
