Geely recently revealed a new flagship saloon model at the Beijing Motor Show and for the first time it seems that a domestic Chinese car could be the one to set the bar for the rest of the world to follow.
The Bo Rui GE (pronounced bow ray) is the first Geely to come out of the new design centers set up by new head of design Peter Horbury, who is from Volvo Cars and he is for now looking over design at all of Geely’s subsidiaries, including Lotus.
This new sedan is powered by a 1.5-liter engine or with a plug-in hybrid setup with an internally developed 7-speed automatic transmission that adds power and cuts fuel consumption.
Looking at the size and features that this Bo Rui GE delivers it would seem that the Bo Rui GE will make a good replacement for the Proton Preve which is seeing slow sales in light of of the tough competition from Japan car brands.
