The all new Supra’s engine will be 3.0-litre 6-cylinder dual overhead cam engine that will produce an impressive 335bhp at 5500rpm and a reported 332lb-ft of torque at 1380-5200rpm. It will be mated to an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox that will be shared with the 2019 BMW Z4, with which the Supra was co-developed. Both sports cars will sit on a similar carbonfibre architecture. (pictured below is the last Supra…the icon)
This all new Supra will be 4380mm long, 1855mm wide, 1290mm tall and will have a wheelbase of 2470mm. This is 140mm shorter, 45mm wider, 15mm taller and 80mm shorter than the previous Supra of 1993. The Supra will be weighing in at 1496kg. This new Supra will be 14kg lighter than the previous Supra and 250kg heavier than the popular Toyota GT86.
