The new Aston Martin Vantage has been unveiled. It’s powered by a 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing that signature, visceral Aston Martin roar.
It produces 510PS and 685Nm of torque and is paired to an 8-speed ZF-sourced automatic. This engine gets the Vantage up to 314km/h with a 0-100km/h time of just 3.7 seconds.
Thanks to the use of lightweight, bonded aluminium, this new British sports car comes in at 1530kg and with perfect 50:50 weight distribution. A rigid subframe within this backbone delivers enhanced stability.
The suspension has a forged double wishbone design at the front and a multi-link system at the rear. Adaptive damping with sensors on the car detect prevailing driving conditions. The master cylinder and booster have been updated to ensure the Vantage feels and responds like a true sports car. Dynamic Torque Vectoring and an Electronic Rear Differential are linked to the car’s stability control.
In the cabin, you’ll find an 8” LCD screen with satelite navigation, Alcantara and leather throughout and Sport Plus seats are an option. Boot space is usable at 350 litres.
More will be revealed soon. In the mean time, here are more shots of the car.
