Apple is about to release their latest group of emoji’s headed to all iOS devices. The lineup includes 3 gender-neutral emoji: an adult, kid, and senior citizen, all of which will be available in a range of skin and hair tones. (what about thise with no hair?)
Another emoji headed to the pack is a cricket, which should come in handy the next time a Tinder date ghosts you.
Also on tap is “I love you” in American Sign Language, a woman in a steam room, a male fairy, a mermaid, wizard, vampire, giraffe, zebra, hedgehog, and dinosaur.
There’s also a couple new smiley faces, including a shhh smiley you might use in a library, a monocle smiley, an angry looking one with a censored profanity over the mouth, and a “grinning face with crazy eyes. There are also new scarf, gloves, and trenchcoat emoji’s, which are also on the way.
The new emoji range is slated to roll out for beta testers on Monday, Oct. 9 and we will be getting them when the final version of iOS 11.1 arrives around the end of this month, October.
