New information has arrived revealing the specifications of the Mi MIX 2. The Chinese made and engineered Mi MIX 2 will arrive with a 6.2-inch 2960 x 1440 display and 256GB internal storage with Android 8.0 Oreo.
Qualcomm has already confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will be fitted with a high-end Snapdragon 835 SoC, while it will come in both 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM variants. The rumor mill also suggests that there will be two storage options as well, with 128 GB and 256 GB models expected. The battery is thought to pack 4,500 mAh, which is generous when compared with other devices featuring a similarly large display. In addition to a finger-print sensor, Xiaomi has reportedly also baked in 3D facial recognition. Those hoping for a ceramic finish as incorporated in the original Mi MIX will, however, have to settle for an aluminum body this time around.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 will be officially launched on September 11.
