This October, Sony is set to give us more choice when buying one with the launch of up to 5 new special edition controllers, which consist of Steel Black, Midnight Blue, and the Crystal Dualshock 4 range, including three translucent finishes (crystal, blue crystal, and red crystal). These new controllers aren’t just a casing change, though. Sony is upgrading them with a redesigned touch pad allowing the light bar to shine through at the top. With that tweak, it’s possible for games to give you cues based on what’s happening on screen.
These new Dualshock 4 controllers are usable either wirelessly or with a wired connection over USB.
