Roads across the country heading towards the island of Penang came alive over the weekend of 9th and 10th September as over 100 motorcyclists and fans of BMW Motorrad from all over Peninsula Malaysia rode together for the third installation of BMW Motorrad Nightfuel event in celebration of camaraderie, food, music and premium motorcycles.
BMW Motorrad enthusiasts, bikers and fans made up of several convoys from BMW Motorrad dealerships across the country namely Wearnes Autohaus in Tebrau, Johor; Chear Motorrad from Puchong and Kuantan, Tan Siang Premium Auto from Ipoh, El Chong from Butterworth and Auto Bavaria Glenmarie as well as numerous motorcycling community groups came together on the island of Penang to form one of the largest gatherings of bikers at the BMW Motorrad Nightfuel 2017 Penang.
“I believe we at BMW Motorrad Malaysia have created history here with this ride event to Penang and it is a very humbling and proud moment for us. Despite some rain, the Nightfuel event in Penang had a great turnout of over 600 people. Truly keeping to our spirit of Make Life A Ride,” said Owen Riley, Head of BMW Motorrad Malaysia.
BMW Motorrad Nightfuel Penang 2017 event saw the premium motorcycle maker unveil four new motorcycles – the new S1000RR, R1200GS, K1600 Bagger and R nineT Urban GS as well as live performances by local band NRG, better known as “Name, Reputation & Glamour.”
