Infiniti Malaysia hosted an inaugural Drive and Ride event for selected group of avid cyclists. The event concept is the first of its kind in collaboration with Cycling Plus Malaysia magazine. It is an event combining both driving experience of a fleet of Infiniti cars and cycling activities with the Fraser’s Hill as the final destination.
The fleet of Infiniti vehicles comprising of the Q50 2.0L turbo, Q60 2.0L turbo and QX70 3.7L V6 were adorned with decals and installed with Thule roof rack for the activity, which attracted 32 cycling enthusiasts.
The event was flagged off at 6.00am at Infiniti Center Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Kubu Bahru for a ride up to Fraser’s Hill and return. The ride started with a scenic trail at the dam followed by a challenging 8-km climb to Fraser’s Hill famous clock tower.
“Cycling helps to build inner strength of a person. It is all about the will to complete the course and pedal till the end,” said Tiffany Tan, General Manager of Infiniti.
“This is Infiniti’s initiative to embrace healthy lifestyle. Cycling is becoming an increasingly popular sport that can shape our life at all stages and we see this as an emerging trend. Apart from that, Infiniti reckons the cyclists’ mindset fits perfectly into their brand values of Human, Daring and Forward and target audience who constantly challenge themselves to outperform; in short they are self-driven and a challenger,” she added.
