UMW Toyota Motor has opened bookings for the new Camry and Corolla Altis. Minor changes aside, both models are now available with a wider range of optional accessories which can be specified at the time of ordering.
For the new Camry, the improvements include new carbon wood trim with brown stitching on the dashboard for all four variants, and new Kogane leather seats (Japanese for gold) for the range-topping Camry 2.5HV Luxury. Additionally, the sedan can be had with USB charging ports, auto-fold wing mirrors, as well as a Panoramic View Monitor (PVM).
As for the new Corolla Altis, it can now be ordered with two USB charging ports, auto-fold door mirrors that automatically fold when the vehicle is locked via remote (optional for Corolla Altis 1.8E only), and illuminated scuff plates. Buyers can also opt for the Digital Video Recorder (DVR).
There is no change in price for both models. The Camry starts from RM148,600 while for the Corolla Altis can be had from RM117,400 with three grades available.
As with all Toyota models distributed by UMWT, the Camry and Corolla Altis come with a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage. The Camry Hybrid also gets an eight-year warranty for the battery.
A Showroom Weekender event will be held at all Toyota showrooms nationwide from 15 September where visitors can test drive the Camry and Corolla Altis.
