Awesome Renault Sport F1 Things We Saw At the Paddock

The first item on our list is this US$150 yellow teapot. It may sound (and look absurd) with its roll bar (or is that a halo?), carbon fibre handle, aerodynamic shape and paint job, but there’s more to this vessel that meets the eye.

It’s actually Renault’s way of celebrating the 40th anniversary of their 1977 RS01, their first formula one car. Their RS01 would often enter the pits emitting smoke, so their rivals called their car a “yellow teapot”. Decades later, Renault has become a motorsport giant.

Next, we have these fine Bell & Ross limited edition time pieces.

Can’t forget the simple but brilliant foam art on the cappuccino they serve.

And the ten-thousand button steering wheel that F1 drivers have to familiarise themselves with.
