Honda to Hold Second “Honda Asian Journey” in October 2017

Honda has announced that the Honda group of companies in Asia & Oceania will organize the “Honda Asian Journey 2017”, which is a Honda big bike caravan that will travel 600 km through the Peninsular Malaysia for four days (October 26 to October 29 2017) to the Malaysian MotoGP.

The journey was held for the first time last year and achieved great success with 50 participants from four countries: Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. This year’s journey will have participants from six countries, with the Philippines and India also joining.

As it did last year, this year’s Honda Asian Journey will provide opportunities to experience various Honda big bikes while enjoying the unforgettable scenery across Malaysia. The new route for this year’s caravan is set to be more fun and challenging, and includes highways in Kuala Lumpur and Malacca and winding roads to and from the Genting Highlands.

Honda plans to offer its various big models, such as the CB500, CBR1000RR, Africa Twin, and Goldwing, for the participants to experience throughout event. The caravan is scheduled to end at Sepang International Circuit on October 29, where all the participants will join other Honda customers who will be on hand to cheer Honda GP riders at the MotoGP.

The itinerary of the Honda Asian Journey 2017:

  • October 26 – Transfer from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca
  • October 27 – Ride from Malacca to Bukit Tinggi
  • October 28 – Ride from Bukit Tinggi to the Genting Highlands
  • October 29 – Ride from the Genting Highlands to Sepang International Circuit for the MotoGP race
