Boon Siew Honda has introduced the new Honda EX5 Dream Fi with the tagline “The Joy of 30 Years”, which explains the model’s historical journey.
Introduced in the market for the first time in 1987, the EX5, also fondly known as the Honda Cub, is the brand’s longest serving motorcycle and has served more than two million Malaysians. The production and sales of the popular ‘kapcai’ is expected to reach 100 million units soon.
The new EX5 Dream Fi is an upgraded version from the last version that was launched back in April 2015. The bike now meets the Euro3 emissions regulations and is also certified as EEV (Energy Efficient Vehicle) under NAP2014. The latest version also comes with cast wheels, tubeless tyres, chrome rear grip and special logo design.
Recommended showroom price (including GST, without road tax, insurance and registration) for the new EX5 Dream Fi starts from RM4,906.74 (kick starter, spoke wheel), RM5,150.54 (kick and self starter, spoke wheel) and RM5,404.94 (kick and self starter, cast wheel). It comes with a manufacturer warranty of two years or 20,000 km.
The EX5 Dream Fi can be had in Marianna Purple Metallic, Candy Scintillate Red and Pearl Nightfall Blue. The cast wheel version is also available in Pearl Magellanic Black.
