Popular Malaysian actress, Rozita Che Wan, famously known as Che Ta, has been awarded with a sports utility vehicle (SUV) Haval H2, as a token of appreciation for being the brand’s ambassador since October last year.
Go Auto executive director Dato’ SM Azli SM Nasimuddin Kamil said the firm was proud to have Che Ta as Haval Malaysia’s ambassador. He also thanked the actress for the latter’s willingness to front the brand.
He said Go Auto hopes Che Ta would enjoy her new SUV and experience its power. To make it more meaningful, the SUV was presented to the Alor Setar-born actress several days before Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Che Ta also did not expect to receive a car registration number “RQ2174” which translates to her name, Rozita.
According to the 44-year- old, Haval is not a un usual name to her as she is aware of the China-made SUV since 2015.
“At the time, Haval still used the label “Great Wall Motors” before recently changing its name to Haval. I’ve been following Haval’s development and updates since I was appointed its ambassador”, said the mother-of- three.
Speaking more on H2, Che Ta said it is the most premium model from Haval that has been brought into the Malaysian market.
“All the features available on other SUVs, H2 has it too – from six airbags, sunroof, ABS, ESP, TPMS, electronic parking brake (EPB), six-way electrically-adjustable driver’s seat, reverse camera, multimedia system, daylight and more.
“The price is affordable and it starts as low as RM89,950 for manual variant, inclusive of GST and insurance, while for premium variant it is priced at RM 101,950. It is much more cheaper than other SUV competitors,” she said.
Che Ta added that the quality offered by H2 and another model, H1, is really satisfactory.
“H2 comes with a five-year warranty or 150,000km mileage, while H1 comes with a seven-year warranty with service centres available nationwide. So there’s no need to worry on trying to find your vehicle’s spare parts or for service,” Che Ta said.
