Most watch movements are held inside the case. With the Bell & Ross BR-X2 Tourbillon Micro-Rotor Watch, the movement is the case. Built from 257 pieces, the watch has a 42.5mm movement frame cut from a solid plate of stainless steel, protected by two plates of carefully milled and polished sapphire, held together with four screws. The flying tourbillon is visible through an aperture at 6 o’clock, the indices and hour and minute hands coated in SuperLuminova, and the micro-rotor visible through the back. Finished with a gray alligator strap with a folding steel buckle and limited to just 99 pieces.
