Boon Siew Honda Introduces Wave 125i

Boon Siew Honda has officially launched the all-new Honda Wave 125i. The latest addition in the company’s premium lineup is said to offer comfortable riding experience as well as fuel efficiency.

With the tagline “A Class of Your Own”, the new kapcai now features an updated look that is promised to stand out in traffic. Apart from a 3D emblem, the Wave 125i also comes with a new instrument panel that is easy to be seen even under bright sunlight as well as a newly designed rear light.

Powering the Wave 125i is a 124.9 cc, single-cylinder mill with Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-Fi) that is mated to a four-speed transmission. Producing 9 hp at 7,500 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm, the kapcai is also classified as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) by the Road Transport Department (JPJ).

According to Boon Siew Honda, its latest offering can travel up to 300 km before refueling, thanks to the generous 5.4-litre fuel tank.

For further convenience, the Wave 125i is equipped with an 18-litre storage space under the seat that is big enough for a full-face helmet. The large seat also guarantees comfort, especially for long-distance commuters.

The new Wave 125i is offered in three colours, namely the Candy Scintillate Red, Pearl Nightfall Blue and Sword Silver Metallic. Pricing (after GST, excluding road tax, insurance and registration) starts from RM6,263.54 for the single front disc brake version, and RM6,549.74 for the front and rear disc brake version.

The model is backed by a two year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty, plus an extended warranty of one year or 10,000 km for the engine.
