Honda Wave Alpha Gets Minor Updates for 2017

Boon Siew Honda has officially introduced the new Wave Alpha MMC (Minor Model Change), which is now more stylish, fuel efficient and environmentally friendly over the current model that was launched in November 2015.

As for the appearance, Boon Siew’s top selling kapchai is now available in Pearl Nightfall Blue colour scheme and is equipped with sporty exhaust muffler and a new pillion grab (for the cast wheel/disc brake variant only). The existing Pearl Magellanic Black and Vivacity Red colour schemes continue to be offered.

Certified as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), the Wave Alpha is powered by a 110 cc, single-cylinder engine with an output of 8.3 hp at 7,500 rpm and 8.6 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, and a four-speed gearbox channels the power to the rear wheel.

The motorcycle is priced at RM4,535.74 for the base model with spoke wheels and drum brakes, and at RM4,927.74 for the variant with disc brake and cast wheels. Both variants come with a manufacturing warranty of two years or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.
