Ban Chu Bee Sdn. Bhd. (Ban Chu Bee) today has officially opened the biggest Honda 4S Centre (Sales, Services, Spare Parts and Body and Paint) in Kelantan, which is also the biggest in East Coast region of Peninsular Malaysia. This brand new Honda 4S Centre will offer customers more Joy of Buying and improve the after-sales service to accommodate the increase in demand for Honda vehicles in East Coast, especially Kelantan.
Honda Malaysia’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Katsuto Hayashi said, “Last year, Honda Malaysia sold 91,830 units and of this total, the East Coast region contributed 8% with sales of more than 7,200 Honda vehicles. Kelantan contributed 34.6% towards this regional sales and Honda Jazz was the favourite among the customers here. In the past five years, Honda Malaysia sales in East Coast region have increased by 172%.”
Honda Malaysia started the year with good market acceptance in the first quarter of 2017, starting with the All-New BR-V, which received close to 10,000 units of bookings and more than 5,200 units registered since its launch in January. The recently launched New City has also been warmly welcomed by customers and it has received close to 3,000 bookings within 3 weeks of its official launch.
“With these two launches and another two more to come, we anticipate the market to grow, including in Kelantan. As such, the official opening of this new Ban Chu Bee Honda 4S Centre with its bigger and expanded facilities is timely as they will be able to fulfill the increasing demands and needs of our growing customer base. The service intake for the year 2016 in Kelantan was 22,600; and with this new 4S Centre, we will now be able to cater for up to 100 vehicles a day or more than 22,000 service intakes a year,” Mr. Hayashi added.
Ban Chu Bee has a history with Honda that spans more than three decades, progressively developing their customer base as well as innovating on their product offerings and service to customers. The expansion to a bigger space on 152,460 square feet of land with a total build-up area of 62,200 square feet where Sales, Services, Spare Parts and Body and Paint Centre are housed under one roof is in line with Honda Malaysia’s approach towards providing more convenience for customers.

A total of RM22 million was invested into this new Honda 4S Centre to provide upgraded sales and after-sales experience for existing and new Honda customers. The investments were in building, land, facilities, equipment and furniture.
The new Ban Chu Bee Honda 4S Centre now has 20 service bays which includes five fast service, one tyre service, eight general repair and one air conditioning service.
