The BMW Concept X2 is about ready for global introduction. This new crossover combines the silhouette of a coupé with the solid build of an X series model. The result is an awesome looking sporty and unconventional vehicle. Shown here in its signature Luminous Red paint the X2 will carry the underpinnings of the X1.
The X2 will be marketed as a sporty, urban, compact and high-tech BMW product which is a perfect match for action-seekers wanting Sheer Driving Pleasure with more than just one function.
Based on the X1, this in itself sharing the UKL platform with the Mini range, the X2 inherits the crossover coupe styling of the BMW X4 and X6. Expect an engine similar to the four-cylinder, 2-liter, 228 horsepower twin-turbo unit along with all-wheel drive and a price starting from RM300,000 or so. It should make an impact with buyers looking at the Mercedes GLA and Q3.
