Earlier in April, Isuzu Malaysia launched its very own vocational training center, the Isuzu Technical School (ITS). The first batch of 5 trainees has graduated with Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia – Level II in Commercial Vehicle : Service & Maintenance after a comprehensive training program, which covered both theory and practical aspect.
The graduation ceremony was held at Royale Chulan Hotel, Damansara. Isuzu Malaysia CEO, Kenji Matsuoka who witnessed the graduation ceremony said that the Isuzu Technical School was a commitment to service excellence.
“We have high expectations of our graduates as they will be placed in nationwide authorized Isuzu service centers. I look forward to their contribution in strengthening Isuzu’s reputation for customer satisfaction,” he added.
The graduates of Isuzu Technical School (ITS) will further perfect their skills in selected commercial vehicle workshops. There they will face more complicated technical issues and further progress in their careers under the supervision of the workshop manager.
During their time in the ITS, the students were under the tutelage of Isuzu Malaysia’s Head of Training & Skill Development, Syaiful Azuan Jaafar. He has accumulated 16 years of experience in various line of automotive industries.
“I feel proud to be here today to witness the graduation of the first 5 trainees. I am thoroughly satisfied that they have surpassed my benchmark for them and they will be able to raise the level of service satisfaction for Isuzu’s customers,” he said.
Isuzu remained the top commercial vehicle brand in Malaysia for two consecutive years. It has expanded to 27 numbers of dealerships with 45 numbers of authorized workshops.
