For years, Honda has been known for its high-revving naturally-aspirated engines and has ignored the growing trend with many car manufacturers with using turbochargers……until recently. The all new Honda Civic comes equipped with a turbocharged engine. This has now fuelled speculation that the next generation HR-V which is due in 2017 might get the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine used in the latest Civic.
There is also a strong possibility that in the near future almost the entire Honda model range will get turbocharged engines. We wait for this news to break…..probably at next years Tokyo Motor Show.
