The technical experts at PP-Performance took the twin-turbocharged 4.0 TFSI V-8 engine of the Audi RS 7 two steps further with their Stage 2 software tune along with some other hardware. The already potent engine was outfitted with a new pair of downpipes, an Akrapovic Evolution titanium exhaust that cuts 17.8 lbs., and a BMC sports air filter.
After the PP-Performance software tune and some thorough testing on the in-house MAHA-LPS 3000 dynometer, the Audi RS 7 throws down a beastly 745 horsepower and 743 lb-ft. of torque. That’s good enough to send it through the quarter-mile in just 10.6 seconds.
While the Quattro all-wheel drive system can easily transfer that power to all four wheels, the larger 21-inch Schmidt Gambit wheels have the job of putting it to the pavement. The satin black and bronze wheels are aided by the new KW adjustable springs to improve overall handling and performance for the Audi RS 7.
Although the 745 horsepower output is the star of the show with the PP-Performance Audi RS 7, the new Cam Shaft special edition vinyl wrap is what will initially turn heads. Cam Shaft created a special “Sparkling Berry” wrap that changes under certain lighting from brown to yellow, to gold, and purple, giving the Audi a completely unique style on the road.
All of the upgrades featured on this Audi RS 7 are currently available from PP-Performance and Cam Shaft.
