This is supposedly the BMW i5, as reported by English motoring website, Auto Express (image credit to www.autoexpress.co.uk ). This new SUV is part of the latest BMW electric vehicle offensive and it is expected to be an all-electric five-door crossover SUV with seats for 5 and a range estimated at around 400 kilometers with a range extender. The BMW i5 will compete directly at the Tesla SUV and it will be built using the same aluminum frame and carbonfiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) bodyshell just like with the i3 and i8.
