Fast Bikes Sdn Bhd as the Exclusive Official Distributor of Triumph Motorcycles in Malaysia today officially announced a price repositioning for its two new models, bringing better value to customers.
The strategic price initiative, for the flagship Triumph Thruxton R and Bonneville T120 (including the T120 Black), will benefit potential customers to the brand. The revised pricing will see the prices of the Thruxton R reduced from RM91,900 to RM83,900, while the Bonneville T120 will see a revision from RM79,900 to RM72,900.
Both the pricing comes with Government Service Tax (GST), but excludes insurance and on-the- road costs.
“With the new reduced pricing of the two models, motorcycle riders who only dreamed of owning a Triumph motorcycle will now have the real possibility of purchasing the latest modern classic motorcycles,” said Fast Bikes Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dato’ Razak Al-Malique Hussain.
Both the models were officially launched here in Kuala Lumpur, together with the Street Twin model, as part of the new Triumph modern classic range in late May this year. Razak Al-Malique said the savings are substantial as it involves a reduction of RM8,000 for the Thruxton R and RM7,000 for the Bonneville T120.
“It is Triumph Malaysia’s objective to provide more riders the opportunity to own and experience the brand’s top premium products from the modern classic range,” he said.
However, the premium Matt Black colour scheme Thruxton R now comes with a premium of RM1,000, while the Bonneville T120 Matt Graphite and two-tone colour schemes will also see a premium of RM1,000 on top of the newly revised pricing.
The popular Street Twin model, pricing unchanged with no revision, will also see a premium of RM1,000 for the Matt Black colour scheme. At the same time, Fast Bikes Sdn Bhd have also taken pro-active steps to reach-out to customers who have taken deliveries of the two models prior to the price revision.
“As part of our Triumph Customer Care Plan, we will offer the current Thruxton R and also Bonneville T120 customers an in-store credit voucher that is equivalent with the price difference,” said Dato’ Razak Al-Malique.
Based on the price revision, he believes that the Triumph brand can continue the sales momentum in Malaysia for 2016 from last year.
“With the new price revision and support from Triumph UK principal, Fast Bikes Sdn Bhd is confident that the newly announced pricing can make an impact in the future growth of the Triumph motorcycle brand here,” he said.
