This makes four, so many are the victories achieved by Barwell Motorsport in the British GT Championship with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3. Fresh from a podium in Pro-Am class at the recent 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the British team has hit a heavy double win at Snetterton 300 with the duo formed by Jon Minshaw and Phil Keen, who now leads the drivers standing.
Barwell Motorsport’s drivers thus became the first crew to win two British GT Championship races since 2010 on the same weekend. A race weekend started in the best way already on Saturday, with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 that dominated the qualifying session signing the pole position.
The rest came with the victory in Race 1 and Race 2, in both cases ahead the TF Sports’ Aston Martin Vantage GT3, thanks to two races characterized by a perfect strategy and a fast and solid race pace.
The Barwell Motorsport team, which is fielding two Lamborghini Huracán GT3s in the British GT Championship, will arrive at the last round of the season at Donington Park, on September 10/11, with Minshaw and Keen strong of a 11.5 points gap ahead the pursuers.
