Malaysians eager to own their own slice of automotive history can choose between the new turbocharged, fuel-efficient 2.3-litre EcoBoost fastback, priced at RM435,000-RM450,000, and the classic 5.0-litre V8 fastback for RM550,000-RM565,000.
The new 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, which produces an impressive 310 horsepower, was designed specifically for Mustang to meet the needs of drivers looking for outstanding performance and fuel efficiency. The iconic 5.0-litre V8 has been optimized, and features an upgraded valve train and cylinder heads that yield an exhilarating 435 horsepower. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Both Mustang variants are available in five eye-catching colours – Oxford White, Shadow Black, Deep Impact Blue, Magnetic Grey and Race Red. A special Triple Yellow Tri-Coat colour is also available for the 5.0-litre V8 variant. Malaysia is one of a select number of right-hand drive markets to welcome Mustang for the first time, as part of its 50th anniversary of continuous production.
