Ferrari Completes Two Days Testing at Fiorano Using Wider 2017-spec Tyres

Pirelli has completed its first two days test session evaluating 2017 specification wet weather tyres at Fiorano. Sebastian Vettel drove on the first day followed the day after by Esteban Gutierrez behind the wheel of the SF15-T. The Team Haas F1 driver completed 165 laps.

The programme was a replay from the day before with a handful of installation laps on dry tyres, before switching to Intermediates and Wets on the artificially watered track.

The activity is the first series of test sessions that Pirelli is undertaking, using the wider tyres to be adopted as from 2017. During Vettel’s session, a series of runs was completed totalling 120 laps.
