Transformed from a standard Defender 90 2.2 TDCI XS Land Rover into a style icon, the Kahn Defender is popular in Britain and major cities, especially among more affluent customers and we spotted a unit in Malaysia, in its full Kahn fitment.
Afzal Kahn who is the principal designer and owner of the company that bears his name, ‘specialises in creating luxury vehicles as redesigning the ordered monotony of mass produced cars to turn them into unique creations.’
We must command the attention to detail and craftsmanship the company is renowned for: Focusing on innovation and design, Kahn Design devise wheels, the interior and the exterior of a car. It is a tailor shop where cars can be worn in countless ways.
Inside, the cabin is dressed like a true luxury sedan, thanks to some new sports seats upholstered in quilted black leather with red and silver stitching. The doors, the dashboard and the steering wheel with six spokes are upholstered in black Alcantara, the seat belts are red and the roof lining and gear box shifter looks brand new.
