The resurgence of Alfa Romeo might just fail in the near future as issues start hitting left hand drive cars as they are being booked by enthusiasts in Europe.
Initially expected to be based on the FCA’s corporate compact wide platform that the Dodge Dart and the Chrysler 200 are based on; fortunately, the Alfa Romeo Giulia arrived with an all-new rear wheel drive platform designed and developed by Alfa Romeo mostly on its own. The world finally got to see the production Giulia when it debuted in mid-2015. Currently the Quadrifoglio Verde (QV) version of the Alfa Giulia which is aimed squarely against the might of the BMW M3, this Giulia QV promises to be the first authentic rival to the world’s best driver car.
To match the supremacy of BMW M3 this Alfa Romeo Giulia QV has a heavy burden on its shoulders. However, till date only the media drives of the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV have been held and that to at the huge test track that FCA owns at Balocco in Italy. Thus meaning that there is still some time before the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV gets pitted head to head with the car it has been tasked to beat, the BMW M3.
