You may not know it, but the Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey is also a world class racer. Now that you’re up to speed, digest this: he finished sixth in the GTE AM Class at the 2015 FIA World Endurance, racing his team’s Porsche 911 RSR. That’s actually not a bad way to finish, given how stiff the competition is and how fatiguing the race can be on both driver and vehicle.
Porsche have certainly taken a liking to Dempsey. They just released this really moving short film, essentially saluting his determination to push on as a career racer. Watch it, you’ll feel… something, for sure.
