As we reported earlier, the Jaguar XE is due for launch in the coming months. But as we were rolling through PJ, we spotted a convoy of these models, albeit sporting some poorly concealed badges.
There are a number of direct rivals in the group as well, indicating that Jaguar is cross comparing their product and helping their staff to get a better perspective of the segment.
This is good: a couple of years ago, some companies would refuse to even acknowledge that they had competition.
Not knowing the strengths and weaknesses of their own product eventually led to their loss in market share. The XE is going to be a very exciting model for Jaguar, and we are looking forward to the local launch.
