We’ve seen the odd teaser here and there for the all new Mercedes E Class that is due for launch in the coming year. It’s got an interior that looks to redefine the luxury sedan game, and will most likely be packed with more technology and processing power than a F/A-18 Hornet. That’s what progress is, and it’s happening at an alarming rate.
But there is one element that is constant: durability. Every car worth it’s salt in the real world has been put through a battery of tests and has been battered in a variety of extreme conditions (although some issues like DSG failure still manage to slip by uncaught), but the idea is to ensure that the car as well as it’s individual components can stand up to any situation a customer will throw it into.
