The BMW E30 M3 is one of the most legendary touring cars of all times, being the first of a long line of M3s to follow. It was powered by an engine derived from a Formula 1 motor at the time- the only other BMW to do this being the E60 M5. But it was more than just a car with a punchy engine- it had a number of changes to the geometry and the body to make it homologated for racing use in road car form.
