Euromobil Sdn Bhd, a member of DRB-HICOM Group Companies (DRB-HICOM) today launched the new Audi Kuala Lumpur Service Centre, located at Jalan Chan Sow Lin. This is part of the company’s efforts to provide world-class services for discerning Audi owners in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and the greater Klang Valley region. The upgraded service facility was officiated by Brigadier General (K) Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr) Mohd Khamil Jamil, Group Managing Director of DRB-HICOM Berhad. Also present to witness the ceremony were Immo Buschmann, Managing Director of Audi Malaysia and Dato’ Radzaif Mohamed, Chief Operating Officer, Automotive Distribution & Manufacturing of DRB-HICOM Berhad.
Already operational since early September, this new service centre facility increases the number of previous service bays at Audi Kuala Lumpur from six to a total of 26 bays. Additionally, the aftersales service team has also been expanded from 21 staffs currently to 47 highly trained service advisors, technicians and consultants to provide the best care for Audi vehicles.
As a result, service throughputs at Audi Kuala Lumpur will increase from just 2,500 service throughputs per annum currently into a total of more than 11,000 throughputs. The new service centre is approximately 300 metres away from the previous location which was at No.44, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur. Now housed at No.124, 126, 127 and 128 Jalan Enam Kawasan Perindustrian Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur, the construction of the service centre was commissioned by DRB-HICOM on 5th March 2015 with inputs from Audi AG with regards to design and technical specifications.
This service centre also serves as a technical training hub, providing support to each of the five Euromobil branches nationwide and complementing the current training centre in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
