JH Italia, the official distributor of Lamborghini have introduced the Huracan Spyder LP610-4, the convertible counterpart to the Huracan. This isn’t your ordinary soft-top supercar. It’s got some impressive engineering backing it up. Take for instance, its electrohydraulic roof mechanism (which folds it down in 17 seconds) adds 120 kilograms to the cars weight bringing it to 1542kg despite being constructed mostly of carbon fibre of aluminium.
The same naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine makes a return, so the Huracan Spyder still manages to produce 610hp and 560Nm of torque. Despite all that power it is 0.2 seconds slower to 100km/h than the regular Huracan. Mind you, that’s still only 3.4 seconds.
Prices have yet to be confirmed, but are expected to hover around the RM1.35 million mark before duties.
