The resurgence of Ducati continues with the famous Italian motorcycle brand achieving a record 50,000 sales in 2015. The sales milestone, a first for the company, was set with the delivery of the 50,000th Ducati motorcycle delivery this Tuesday. In the same period last year, Ducati sold significantly fewer bikes, just 40,650. With a number of exciting new Ducati models set to come online in coming months, Ducati Motor Holding CEO, Claudio Domenicali, said more Ducati sales records are set to be broken.
“Reaching the 50,000 bike mark is a huge sales achievement for Ducati,” “Growth is not a goal in itself but, rather, an indicator of customer satisfaction with regard to both the bikes and the overall quality of our work. “It’s a result we’re very proud of, one that rewards our efforts and confirms the soundness of our strategy.”
