MV Agusta has teamed up with reigning World Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton to release a new version of their Dragster 800RR superbike.
Hamilton is said to have worked with the MV Agusta Castiglioni Research Centre (CRC) in San Marino to ensure the bike’s specification and performance were to his choice. Giovanni Castiglioni, President and CEO of MV Agusta, said: “We are proud to be partnering with a passionate racer like Lewis Hamilton. It is great news for us and for everyone around the world that loves MV Agusta”.
The Dragster 800 RR is an 800cc three-cylinder bike with a host of upgrades over the standard bike although MV is giving no actual details of what has been changed on the Lewis Hamilton special edition. Here is a video of Hamilton and the bike.
All limited edition Lewis Hamilton Dragster RR bikes will be hand-built at the main Varese headquarters in Italy.
